When was the last time you stopped to ask a child what they needed? Not wanted but needed. When was the last time you spent quality time with a child?
Children don't need gadgets and gizmo's to make them happy or feel complete. They don't need outside stimulation to give them a feeling of purpose or happiness.... They need you.
Who is you? You is anyone who can speak life into them, someone who can pray over them, someone who can touch them. They need you/us.
It would seem as though the Internet and technology aren't going anywhere, so since it's not going anywhere, why does it have to be your child's babysitter or friend? Why does technology have to take the place of you/us/we.
Our motto is "It takes a village to raise a child, but it take knowledge to know how". A village involves a group of people not technology. A village consist of people who have different skills or ability for the community in which they live. Are you and islander or a villager? What child have you spoken into lately? What child have you loved on lately?
If the answer is none, then your an islander.
